A God send

Friends, continue to pray! I received a call late last night, an anonymous donor is willing to provide the $10,000 of Alexei's fees, when we raise the remainder of Losha's fees! We are so excited we could scream and jump up and down and turn around and hug and well, I'll stop there. We have to get busy raising funds!!
This is one of God's miraculous works!!!!! Yet, another confirmation that these boys will belong to us, one of these days! We are willing to work our tails off to get the boys here "where they belong"! Garrett has his 6 yr. old beautiful Palomino registered horse for sale, if you know of someone who needs a horse. We are selling the 1965 Mustang Fastback that has been in Jacky's family since he was small, if you know a classic collector. Again, continue to pray! God is in control!

Latest fundraisers

Hello all,
We had a frito chili pie lunch for our Classical conversations friends on Friday, and raised enough to go to OKC and have our documents apostilled (a special type of notarization)! If the weather cooperates, we will hopefully have all paper work in place next week, in order to go to OKC. Wow! Alexei and Losha have NO idea how much it cost to get them here, not that it matters! Compared to their surroundings, they felt everyone they met in the USA was wealthy.
We are also doing a tupperware fundraiser (turning in orders Thursday Feb. 12th), a crispy creme donut fundraiser (need orders by Tue. Feb. 3rd) will deliver Friday Feb. 6th, and we're still saving the change for our "change the world" campaign.

Recycling

One of the Moms in our 4-H group, had a wonderful idea, a recycling project! The 4-Her's are in the process of collecting aluminum cans, ink cartridges and old cell phones. Her idea included that the proceeds raised be donated to the adoption fund. Thank you Crystal!

Alexei and Losha

We've known since mid-November that if God provided the finances we were to adopt both Alexei & Losha. We've decided to step out on faith and say we know these boys belong with us, it was just much easier since Losha had stayed in our home for 10 days to be certain that he belonged. God has not allowed us to forget about Alexei, he has been on our hearts and we know he belongs too! We wanted to make sure we weren't just feeling sorry for him. Every time Alexei was with us, they had so much fun. I know when you see them with our family you will feel the same way "they belong".
God is really working, we have believers in different parts of the world praying for us! Some of our friends have spread the word to China and some to the Philippines! Thank you!!!

Prayer needed

My cousin Kim & I usually get to have a good visit once a year (Christmas Eve) with occasional short visits at various home school events that we attend. I received a call Monday evening from my cousin, who also has a large family. She began the conversation by apologizing for not being able to contribute financially and went on to tell me about a Russian friend of theirs that has family in Moscow that may be willing to put us up part of the time of our stay in Moscow. Plans are not concrete yet, so we ask for your prayers in this situation. If this situation works out, it would be a huge financial contribution! The incredible thing about this: early Monday I was talking with a friend about my concerns of the cost of the stay while in Moscow and Monday evening I receive Kim's call. Thanks Kim for thinking of us! Even if it's 1 day or 1 week, God is good all the time!
